“24/7”

Fearless encounters, dealing with outbursts
Life’s a 24/7 job that’ll never be outsourced
Layers reveal the pain and the healing
Home is where the heart is and it has no ceiling
The wilderness is peaceful
But, people try to burn the wilderness down with diesel
Don’t claim to know the secret, but if I did I would keep it
No leaking, deep in the game, never been seen in the bleachers
A wordsmith with the urge to be purchased
Nothing’s what it seems on the surface
First and foremost no cutting corners
Face facts, everyone’s ancestors were foreigners
Indigenous state of mind wherever I choose to recline
Life’s a 24/7 job I refuse to resign
